Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by our guide who will greet you and transfer you to your hotel, taking between 15 minutes to 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Overnight stay at Gorilla Africa Guest House, H/B basis.  

Day 2

Depart to Kibale Forest National park.

After the early breakfast at 0700hours, you will drive to the western part of Uganda, Fort portal. The drive takes us 5-6 hours depending on the speed and traffic. Arriving Fort portal Town in the afternoon, have lunch and proceed to the Lodge for check in, dinner and overnight at Turaco treetops at a full board basis.  

Day 3

Kibale Forest National Park.

Have a breakfast at 0700hrs, Drive to the visitors information center, briefing at 0800hrs and later proceed for chimpanzee tracking experience. This activity takes 2-3hours depend on where the chimps slept, weather and terrain. Drive back to the hotel for lunch and later at 1430hrs, go for community walk. Walk around the community and interact with the local people. later drive back to the lodge for dinner a and over night on a full board basis.

Day 4

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

On this day, you will have breakfast 0730hrs, then depart to queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes us 2-3hrs driving along the foothills of Mt Rwenzori. Arrive in the afternoon, check in, lunch and go for the evening game drive. Expect large mammals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and so much more. Dinner and overnight at Pumba Safari Cottages on a full board basis.

Day 5

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start with a Game drive in the Kasenyi sector, well-known for its lions that prey on Queen Elizabeth’s large population of Uganda Cob (antelope). and other animals like leopards, bushbuck, warthog, rare giant forest hog so much more.

In the afternoon, you will take a boat for a water safari on the Kazinga Channel which connects lakes of Edward and George and over 80 bird species can be identified including African Skimmers, Great White Pelicans, Spoonbill and a number of Bee-eater species. Hippos wallow at the edge of the water, and huge Nile crocodile. Overnight stay at Pumba Safari Cottages, F/B basis.

 

Day 6

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Depart to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with an enroute game drive passing through Ishasha, the remote, southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park and try to search for the famous tree climbing lions.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site since 1994. 
After a few hours in the vehicle, you may enjoy an afternoon walk around the village of Buhoma (your home for two nights) and a chance to visit one of the handicraft shops or to meet the Batwa, the ancient forest-dwelling tribe. Dinner and overnight Rushaga Gorilla lodge, F/B basis.

Day 7

Gorilla Tracking.

The ultimate gorilla experience in unbearable to appreciate nature and this can take 2 or more than 6 hours depending on Gorilla movement and weather. Overnight Rushaga Gorilla lodge, F/B basis.

Day 8

Drive Back to the Airport.

After the morning breakfast drive back to the airport. a stopover at the equator for pictures and lunch is phenomenal. proceed for your return flight and farewell. End of service.
